Details

The 'Mukhyamantri Shramshakti Yojana' provides employment opportunities to men and women of the minority community aged 18 to 45 years. Beneficiaries are offered vocational skill training in a trade of their choice, or loans for self-employment through the Bihar State Minority Financial Corporation, Patna. The scheme is implemented by the Minority Welfare Department, Government of Bihar.

Benefits

Eligibility

1. The applicant must belong to a notified minority community.
2. The applicant must be a permanent resident of Bihar.
3. The age of the applicant must be between 18 and 45 years.
4. The applicant must meet the minimum educational qualification prescribed for the chosen trade.
5. The applicant must not be employed in government service.

Application Process

1. Apply online on the Minority Welfare Department portal, or at the District Minority Welfare Office.
2. Select the vocational trade or the self-employment loan component.
3. Documents are verified and applicants are shortlisted at the district level.
4. Selected candidates are enrolled at the designated training centre.
5. For the loan component, the sanctioned amount is disbursed by the Bihar State Minority Financial Corporation after the loan agreement is executed.
